Getting around

Walking can be a pleasant way to see the town. Kuressaare is compact, and Grand Rose Spa Hotel in Kuressaare is situated in the center of the town, right in the Old Town.

Taxi: You can hail a taxi in the street or find one at a taxi rank – they are always waiting outside near by Grand Rose Spa Hotel. Check the prices before the journey starts – the driver must charge the fare shown on the meter, and you can ask for a printed receipt.

Visitors can enjoy Saaremaa and get to know its richness travelling by bike. Different routs and possibilities can be chosen. First, you can already come here by bike, but bike rental is also offered. It is possible to choose routs that are organised starting from helmets up to meals and accommodation. But you can also ride your bike alone and be your own master.
